A.P.F. Mill Hill

The Association for the Propagation of the Faith assists missionaries and local priests in the Third World by prayer and financial help given through boxes in the home.

 

 

Brownies

Youth Group for Girls aged 7-10. living in the parish. Please contact us for more information.

 

 

Club 200

A weekly prize draw. A number is bought and entered weekly. Half the money is given out in prizes and the remainder goes to the Church Restoration Fund.

Church Cleaning

Several teams of parishioners undertake the cleaning of the church, normally on a Thursday. New members always welcome.

Counting Team

A rota of teams counts the collection on Sunday after the 10.30am Mass. Volunteers always welcome.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid enables us to claim from the Government the tax already paid on money given to the church. All who pay tax on salaries, wages, pensions, etc. can take part. The most practical way is to sign a form and place your weekly collection in a numbered envelope. More contributors welcome.

The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children affirms and defends the existence and value of all human life from the moment of conception. Meetings: Sunderland Branch, 2nd Monday of the Month, 7.30pm , at St. Cecilia’s church hall, Ryhope Road . All are welcome.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society gives comfort and/or practical help to those in need. Membership is open to all parishioners. Meetings are held in the monastery meeting room after the 9.00am Sunday Mass.
